Sustainability reports And Ratings
CAML has published five sustainability reports covering its activities at Kounrad and Sasa.
In 2024, CAML published its fifth standalone Sustainability Report. This was the Company’s fourth report drafted in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (‘GRI’) Standards, and the second to GRI’s new Universal Standards and includes detail on eight of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (‘SDG’s) to which it has the capacity to best contribute.
Additionally in 2024, CAML published its third Climate Change Report detailing the Company’s reporting efforts towards Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (‘TCFD’), including its Climate Change Strategy and the results of the climate change scenario analysis undertaken during 2022.
CAML has committed to a 50% reduction in its greenhouse gas (‘GHG’) emissions by 2030 versus a 2020 base, and to achieving net zero by 2050.
