Pavel Semenchenko, General Director, Sary Kazna. With over 15 years of experience of managing businesses in Kazakhstan and a proven record in the resources industry, Pavel has excellent management skills and an in-depth knowledge of the Kazakhstan’s business environment.

Saken Ashirbekova, General Director, Kounrad Copper Company. Saken Ashirbekova joined CAML in 2010 in order to oversee the development of the commercial SX-EW plant at Kounrad. She was General Director of JSC Varvarinskoye, a wholly-owned subsidiary of European Minerals Corporation, having worked for that company in Kazakhstan since 1996. Prior to that, she worked for Kazakhmys as a senior metallurgical engineer. She is a graduate of the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys with a degree and a PhD in metallurgy, and is a Kazakhstani national.

Mongolia Management

Yerken Magad, General Director, New CAML Mongolia, A graduate of the Mongolian Polytechnic University in mine engineering with a PhD in Geology from the Moscow Mining Academy. He has over 20 years of production experience gained in management roles at major mining project in Asia.
